Jack Sparrow Publishers – Special Issue Guidelines
Jack Sparrow Publishers (JSP) invites proposals for Special Issues in its journals to promote cutting-edge research on emerging topics, foster collaboration among scholars, and highlight innovative ideas in specialized domains.
Purpose of Special Issues


Opportunities for guest editors to lead high-impact publications.
A platform for academic networking and collaboration.
Greater visibility for contributors and institutions.


Guest editors or editorial board members are welcome to propose a Special Issue. Proposals should be submitted to specialissues@jacksparrowpublishers.org and must include:
Title of the Special Issue (clear, concise, and
thematic).
Guest Editors – Names, affiliations, contact details, and brief bios (100–150 words).
Rationale and Objectives – Significance, novelty, and alignment with the journal’s scope (300–500 words).
Suggested Topics – A list of sub-themes or areas to be covered.
Tentative Timeline – Call for Papers release, submission deadline, review process duration, and final publication date.
Expected Contributions – Estimated number of papers and target audience.
Potential Collaborations – (Optional) Links with conferences, workshops, or research projects.


The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board will evaluate proposals.
Key criteria: Relevance, novelty, potential impact, and editorial team’s expertise.
Once approved, the Guest Editors will receive an official confirmation and workflow
instructions.


Guest Editors are expected to:
Draft and circulate the Call for Papers (CFP) in collaboration with JSP.
Manage the peer-review process with strict adherence to double-blind review standards.
Ensure compliance with ethical publishing
practices, including plagiarism checks.
Make final recommendations on accepted papers (subject to approval by the Editor-in-Chief).
Write an Introductory Editorial for the Special Issue.


Proposal Submission → Reviewed by Editor-in-Chief.
Approval & CFP Preparation → Posted on journal website & shared widely.
Manuscript Submission → Authors submit via the online system.
Peer Review → Handled by Guest Editors with
oversight from the journal.
Final Decision & Revision → Approved by Editor-in-Chief.
Publication → Special Issue published online/print with DOI indexing.


Manuscripts must adhere to Jack Sparrow Publishers’ Author Guidelines.
Original, unpublished research only.
Length: Typically 6,000–8,000 words (journal-specific variations allowed).
Each paper undergoes plagiarism screening
(Turnitin/iThenticate).
At least two independent reviewers per submission.


Follow COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
Guest Editors must declare conflicts of interest.
No guaranteed acceptance; all papers undergo rigorous peer review.


All Special Issue articles will receive DOI numbers.
Indexed in major and other databases (depending on journal coverage).
Authors and Guest Editors will receive wide
promotion through JSP newsletters, social media, and partner institutions.
