Purpose: Provide strategic direction, uphold editorial standards, and contribute to journal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on editorial policy and scope.
Promote the journal among peers,
institutions, and conferences.
Review manuscripts within their expertise promptly.
Recommend high-quality manuscripts, special issues, and guest editors.
Participate in periodic board meetings (online or in person).
Suggest topics or trends for future content.
Act as an ambassador to enhance visibility and citation impact.


Purpose: Oversee the entire editorial process, ensuring timely, fair, and high-quality publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage manuscript submissions from initial screening to final decision.
Assign manuscripts to reviewers and track review progress.
Ensure reviews are constructive, unbiased, and confidential.
Communicate editorial decisions to authors.
Coordinate with the publisher on production schedules.
Maintain ethical publication standards (COPE guidelines, plagiarism checks, conflict of interest policies).
Monitor journal metrics (impact factor, citations, readership).
